This Gala evening shows the quality of the entrepreneurs and companies of the industry. The 2009 Améthyste award recipients in the following categories — Supplier of the Year, Business of the Year, Recognition and Innovation of the Year — will be announced during the closing ceremony of the 9th edition of the AMETVS Annual Conference, which is held concurrently this year with the Powersports and Innovation Show.

This award especially aims to honour one SMB and one large business for their outstanding achievements during the past year, either through their investments, their growth, their industrial impact, the quality of their business practices, and others. The selection committee is composed of the advisory committee members of the AMETVS Annual Conference.

This award recognizes the significant contribution of an industrial in the development of the ground transport industry in recent years. The members of the AMETVS Board of directors form the panel.

This prize is awarded to a company or organization that has developed or introduced in the market, over the last two years, a product, a methodology or a process whose innovative character has had an impact in its field and market.
